My Tryst With Nature

Such fun to lie down in the lush green grass,
So intoxicating the smell of the red rose,
Soothing the buzzing of insects used to be,
Exciting the chirping of birds used to be.
So beautiful the sound of the cuckoo bird,
And that of the soft rustle of tree leaves.
So gentle the caress of the cool breeze,
While the sun shone on this mesmerizing scene.
Such are my childhood memories.

Curled up in nature's womb,
Fun and frolick were the key.
No house was so much fun,
For nature was infinite beauty.

I remember that carefree smile,
When nature was enough for me.
For in being one with nature,
I was one with true beauty.

Now the spark, the twinkle lost,
The springy step, the carefree smile.
Lost the glitter, the glowing face,
So far from nature, in which I bathed.

I am the one who dumped nature,
But am still welcome with open arms.
For she will love me unto death,
As she is my destiny ultimate.

She retains the complete paradise,
Revealing and mesmerizing she can be.
For in her I can still see,
Myself enveloped in true beauty.

Our Final Destiny

Oh in this garrulous world,
So loud and blaring they unfurl,
But the word goes unheard,
Lost in the articulate blur.

The loquacious artifice casts a veil,
An illusion, the beautiful future shone.
We lay back, enjoy the cover,
Only letting the world burn over.

Awaken before the light burns out,
See for yourself devil incarnate,
Feeding off your sluggish self,
His strength, ignorance, indifference.

Cast is a veil of false security,
In this spate of comforting words.
The languid self happy and gay,
This world, satan's toy to play.

Let the devil's spell be broken,
Tear apart the comforting veil.
Come forth with renewed exuberance,
See for yourself life's true beauty.

Then you'll see life's purpose,
For it can't be material gain.
Everything borrowed in life returned,
To nature we all finally return.

Why is that only in death,
Do we become one with nature.
So far we remain from our ultimate destiny,
Running away as a living creature.

A Moonlit Summer Night

The caress of a soft, cool breeze,
The touch of a soft, fluffy pillow,
Against my face on a summer night.
Under the star covered night sky,
Standing on top of a cliff so steep,
Overlooking the vast silver sea,
Refulgent and tranquil, a different sea.

So unlike the mangy little town,
Unlike the rush of human life,
Devoid of all exasperating noise,
So unlike the human spate.

The moon reflected in the pristine waters,
A silver hue upon the leaves,
The hooting of a solitary owl,
Gentle rustling of the silver leaves.
So beautiful the world on offer,
Under this moonlit night sky,
As I sit here in tranquility,
With my love right beside me.

Ah this pleasant, pervasive feeling,
Overwhelming this pure beauty,
Oh my love I love you so much,
Together in this beautiful journey.

"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness." - The Dalai Lama

Cocoon of Death

In the end, the words remain in my heart, unuttered,
As I see you walk away, becoming a distant dream.
Light fading away, becoming ever so smaller, fainter,
My outstretched hands lifeless, darkness takes over.

This placid facade conceals the tumult of my mind,
Reigns chaotic silence, a chilling cold blackness.
This life becoming a blasphemy against life itself,
Falling apart I am, lost in darkness without my light.

Enwrapped I am in this cocoon of death,
My world destroyed, empty I am.
All feeling gone, all comprehension lost,
In mind and heart, numb I am.

Lost are those happy feelings,
Lost is my refulgent self.
Gone with you, oh my light,
Is the very essence of self.

Ah those words still choked in me,
The tears dry, they drench my world.
Withdrawn I am into my shell,
Mocked by the dance of my own words.

Ramblings of a Blissful Mind

I am so very high,
Ah this lovely feeling.
As I listen to beautiful songs,
This world a beautiful dream.

Ah so full of love,
Pure, white as a dove.
Flying high in the sky,
As I see time fly by.

Ah that beautiful fragrance,
The stars shown in the sky.
Looking up at the dark beauty,
Lost in this wonderful trance.

Such fun it is to mess around,
To lose control, inhibitions.
Leaving behind all fears,
Myself becoming intrepid.

Ah the pinnacle of life,
Immortality becomes you.
Ah this purity of happiness,
Eternity becomes you.

Highness is the way of being,
Where there is no artifice.
All perfidy lost in oblivion,
Limpid purity reigning supreme.

So intoxicating this feeling,
It becomes the healing.
This tranquil state of existence,
Harmony devoid of all pretense.

Ah this torrential flow of thoughts,
Thoughts so eloquent, so articulate.
Devoid of all that is perfunct,
The quotidian lost in oblivion.

Lost are those jarring feelings,
There is no envy, no hatred.
The incubus destroyed, love so beautiful
The world a whirlwind, romantic fantasy.

Oh how I wish I had a girl,
A girl so cute, so pleasant.
A profusion of utter bliss,
The blossoming of all that is.
I wish she were in my arms,
Full of her feminine charms.
Ah what a spectacular dream,
So beautiful the vision does seem.

All pretense is washed away,
The ostentatious lost.
From the wilderness comes the real,
The true meaning of thee.

So soulful life becomes,
The complete embodiment of it.
So serene this world becomes,
Lost in the beauty unseen.

Love is such a beautiful feeling,
Whether of human, music or thing.
Ah it is a world so blissful,
And the only gate is LOVE.

Ah so versatile is love,
The one integrating factor.
It is of art and nature,
And of existence together.
It is the divine creation,
The veracity of true existence.

Fecundity of endeavours lost,
What matters is the endeavour.
This blissful journey that is life,
A journey to revere.

Ah such ostentatious beings we are,
Goading over our material gains.
But in this true lightness of being,
It is the core that we gain.

Ah this gray world so white,
Black lost, there is no plight.
This is such an ecstatic flight,
This world, a heavenly sight.

The music flows through your body,
Touching the very depths of thee.
Oh this torrent of pure bliss,
Drops of heaven bathing thee.

Oh this rhythmic deluge of passion,
Emanating from the burried core.
Pervasive, spreading through the body,
Making you one and whole.

Alleviation of all uncertainities,
All ambiguities disappear.
Negativity an obscure concept,
Life a pellucid clarity.

The beauty of this uncorrupted mind,
A mind to devoid of deception.
Shed is the eternal veil,
Prolonged, the ephemeral moments of being.

Comes forth the ardent curiosity,
The ardousness all but forgotten.
The vague path so articulately drawn,
Refulgent in its beautiful simplicity.

All fears, apprehension shed,
All inhibitions have fled.
At last I am truly free,
Free, to be me.
To sway to the beat of my heart,
To live and feel my own music.
Free to rise in this world,
To be me in this blissful journey.

I see all the walls crumble,
As I rejoice in my nakedness.
I am no more the arcane being,
Layed bare are all aspects.

Now this unearthly bliss,
Is forever with me.
Like the panache of Ronaldo's game,
Life is meant to be.

Life Becomes You

Wake up you dead people,
Those souls in hibernation,
Your minds wasting away,
Show thy refulgent self.

Why is your soul immured
In this unthinking cowardice.
Why are you so perfidious,
Thy effete soul crying.

Thy life devoid of passion,
Thyself, labile.
At times so unbriddled,
At times, timid.

Ah this torrential chaos,
This internal pandemonium,
Gnawing at thy heart and soul,
The very depths of thy being.

Come out of this inebriated life,
Let go of the masses,
The perfunct.
Leave behind the artifice,
The maelstrom.

Come forth intrepid, open the orifice,
Let thyself out of the jail.
Free thyself, thy very being,
Thy depths, thy complete being.

Let the life you live be yours,
A true reflection of thy real self.
Let it be what you want it to be,
Not a default, nor a veiled self.

Thy life is thy journey,
The journey of you, for you.
Only you can stake your claim,
And only you are to blame.

Don't let the world stamp all over,
For your life is meant for thee.
So let not your real self cower,
And come forth with alacrity.

So wake up, rise and shine,
And make this life thine.
Let it be worth the seal of your approval,
Let it be one you enjoy and revere.
